It is 5:16 Saturday evening Las Vegas time and we are currently 5-1 with our member selections for Saturday’s college football action…Still have 3 to go, hope it continues….

Sunday NFL….Vikings / Steelers….There are only a couple of very competitive matchups for this week. Minnesota / Pittsburgh I believe will be one of the most competitive games on the board….Oddsmakers giving the edge to the home field with the Steelers against the undefeated Vikings…After dropping 2 of their first 3 games, Pittsburgh has bounced back with 3 consecutive wins, however we must point out that two of those wins came against the likes of the Browns and the Lions…

Pittsburgh has had problems covering spreads against the Vikings as they are only 1-3 in the last 4 meetings and are 0-4 when on their home turf. They are 8-1 the second of back to back home games when facing a non division opponent…and 8-2 versus non-conference as a 3+ favorite…The Steelers despite facing some very mediocre to lower level opponents, have only covered one spread in their 6 games.

The Vikings are averaging a whopping 32.3 points per game scoring 27 points or more in all 6 of their games…They have covered 4 of their 6 games….They are 11-13 as a road dog overall in the past 4 years…They should be able to run with Peterson against a Steeler defense that just isn’t up to the “Iron curtains” of past seasons….

This is a tough game to handicap, but with the 4 points, I would have to give the edge to the Vikings, although I am not sure I would risk any of my hard earned money on it…heck, how wrong can you be getting more than a field goal with an undefeated team..

Best Upset possibilities this week go the the Atlanta Falcons and the Miami Dolphins…I believe both these teams have a very good shot at pulling off upset wins…Although only a small 1 point dog, the Bears could also pull off the small upset.
