Sunday October 18 in the NFL was one of the most bizarre, (weirdest) days I have ever seen….From a handicapping standpoint, at least for me, it was a disaster….We saw one of the worst teams in the league pull off a upset over what many consider one of the best teams in the league as a 14.5 point underdog, of course I’m talking about the Raiders beating the Eagles. The eagles have averaged 31.25 points per game, the Raiders have given up 32.0 average in their last 3 games and yet Philadlephia could only manage 9 points, losing the game 13-9…!!…Winless Kansas City goes on the road and pulls off an upset win over Washington…Houston was another road upset winner as were Arizona and Buffalo…

There were 8 dogs that covered the spread with 5 of them winning straight up..New England on a snow covered field puts up a whopping 59 points and to make matters worse don’t give up a single point to Cincinnati…Unbelievable day…Is this what they call “parity”…?
