T-Rating Lines….T-rating lines are a statistical ratings which includes current game situations and unlike other power rankings it includes statistical data on performance against the spread…Our lines have proven to be 12 to 15% closer to actual outcome than the Vegas Openers. These lines are not to be used solely to make a decision on a play..all other handicapping factors need to be considered.

Hawaii @ Louisiana Tech….This line opened at LT -3.5..Louisiana Tech has been outscored 27-69 in it’s two boarded games this year. Despite returning 9 starters on offense they have managed a total of only 27 points in their two board games…they are 0-7 ATS when favored against a .500> team and and 0-5 following games where they score 35 or more…..Hawaii returns only 2 defensive starters this year and they have given up 94 points in their first 3 games. They are 6-1 ATS in this series and have won the last three.

Colorado @ West Virginia…W. Va opened at -17.0…W. Virginia will be in a small revenge situation as they went to Colo last year as a 3 point favorite and were beaten 17-14…Colorado’s only win this year was a shutout 24-0 over lowly Wyoming last week. In week two they gave up 54 points to Toledo. W. Va covers the spread 47.3% when a home favorite of 10.5 or more since 1998. Colorado as a road dog of 10.5 or more covers at 45.8%

Pittsburgh @ Louisville…Pittsburgh opened as a 6 point favorite..Louisville is in unfamiliar territory as they have only been in the role of a home dog 6 times in the last 9 years and are 4-2…They got humiliated last year at Pitt 41-7. When a home dog of 3.5 to 6.5 points they are 5-1 for 83.33% since 1998….This will be a tough season for the Cardinals as they face 8 opponents that went to bowl games last year…Pittsburgh opened the season with 3 wins before falling to NC State last week. The 3 wins were against non quality teams. As a road favorite of 3.5 to 6.5, Pitt covers 40% of the time.

Utah State @ BYU…Byu opened as a 24 point favorite.  BYU has covered a 20+ spread the last two times these two have met..should have no problem doing so again, but I think I will pass. BYU had it’s sights set on a undefeated season and go the wind knocked out of their sails in the upset loss to Florida St….Utah State has failed to cover the spread the last 3 times they played at BYU…They have covered the spread however in their two boarded games this season playing to within 8 points of  Texas A&M as a 20 point underdog.
